Biography:

Dr. Stanislav Alexandra Alina is a Medical Biologist Specialist in the Department of Biochemistry, Medical Analysis Laboratory, Emergency County Hospital Giurgiu, Romania. She earned her Ph.D. at the age of 35 from the Department of Genetics, Faculty of Biology, University of Bucharest.

Her academic and professional background spans both classical and modern methods of human genetics, along with extensive expertise in biochemical and hematological laboratory investigations. Her research and clinical interests cover a wide range of areas, including metabolic syndrome, obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, risk factors, bioinformatics, epigenetics (Alzheimer’s disease), microbiology (Staphylococcus aureus), immunology, and urinary biochemistry.

Dr. Alina also has specialized skills in electrophoresis, ionometry, HbA1c testing, Matlab programming, RFLP-PCR, and advanced next-generation sequencing (NGx). She continues to integrate her expertise in biochemistry, genetics, and clinical diagnostics to advance patient care and research in medical biology.

Research Interest:

Dr. Stanislav Alexandra Alina’s research interests focus on the integration of genetics, biochemistry, and clinical diagnostics to better understand and manage complex diseases. She is particularly interested in metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and metabolic syndrome, as well as the epigenetic mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease. Her work also explores microbiology (Staphylococcus aureus), immunology, urinary biochemistry, and hematological investigations. In addition, she applies bioinformatics approaches, Matlab programming, RFLP-PCR, and next-generation sequencing (NGx) to advance research in human genetics, laboratory medicine, and personalized healthcare.
